As managing owner and clinician for eCounseling Service, LLC, John provides professional, discrete, and accessible counseling services for adults in Georgia.
While he works with adults dealing with a variety of issues, John has two primary specialties at eCounseling Services, LLC: men’s issues and clinical supervision for LAPC and LMSW’s seeking terminal licensure as an LPC or LCSW in Georgia.
Men’s issues encompass many areas including stress, substance use, balancing work and family, and sexual issues related to aging, performance, or infidelity. John particularly enjoys working with men facing or experiencing separation or divorce as well as those who are living with the reality of separation and divorce.
As a prior divorced, single parent, John believes that counseling during these critical times can help men move from surviving to thriving while recovering from and avoiding the many pitfalls that are common in separation, divorce, and single parenting.
For those seeking Clinical Supervision, John’s style of reflective and consultative supervision combined with 25 years of experience in the mental health field create an environment where associate licensed professionals can feel at ease, develop as experts, and learn the valuable self care and clinical skills necessary for a lifetime of independent practice.
During clinical supervision, associate licensed professionals benefit from John’s extensive experience providing inpatient, public, private, and school-based counseling.
John has a long history of community involvement. He previously served as a board member for Paulding Pregnancy Services, was on the professional advisory board of Cherokee County C.H.A.D.D., and was a former member of the Blue Ridge Judicial Circuit’s Family Violence Task Force. He also served on the Men Stopping Violence Public Policy Committee, as well as the legislative committee for the Georgia Commission on Family Violence.
